About Pink Dog Days

Pink Dog Days was conceptualized during the long and hazy pink days of my cancer treatment. Pink is the color representing breast cancer, chemo leaves you hazy, and the days during treatment are so very long. It was also a time of deep reflection. Through my reflections, I began a healing transformation in my body and my soul. It was and is a slow and ever-evolving process. Pink Dog Days is a passionate endeavor, a space where I share my writings, blogging advice, and vital information that I have gathered on my own healing journey. I deeply understand the challenges of navigating a serious illness, and would like to support you through yours with my own experiences and shared stories.

Sometimes I forget the most important people in my life. And Johanna is one of them. Kind and loving, she is always there with words of kindness, strict advice, and…

The Danger of Narcissism

I am compelled to write about this topic because my own experience with narcissistic abuse is being reenacted in front of me every single day.  I had finally come to a truce with it all and was moving on, but the events of late have brought it all back one hundredfold. Watching two American Citizens…

Greyrock for 2026

Rabbit Rabbit 2026 I have not written in my journal or anywhere for a few days. There is much to reflect on this past year. We lost so much and so many that, for me, it brings up intense thoughts and feelings. I want to do justice for those so deserving of it, I am…
